After care is really minimal. We have not seen any problems with insect pests or other diseases. Fertiliser, as slow release, organic or liquid should be applied three or four times a year. Because of the compact growth habit pruning is minimal. If cutting back wait for warm days and cut back by half. Apply fertiliser at this time when you have finished the pruning. In garden beds mulching to conserve moisture is beneficial. Take care that the mulch is not placed close to the main stem of the plant.
‘Diamond Dazzler’ was developed in a new breeding programme in Germany when selections were made with the overall aim of a double ‘Diamond Frost’. It was an all-consuming exercise with many seedlings discarded. Going from the first plants of Euphorbia graminea which were used to breed and select from to ‘Diamond Frost’ and thence to ‘Diamond Dazzler’ has been an interesting journey.
