More colours and better garden performance. Not only are our Superbells®
extremely colourful, they are all bred to perform for the gardener long after they leave the
growers care. This line-up performs from Spring, through to Summer and deep into Autumn.
Superbells look superb in containers or hanging baskets on a patio, deck or in a courtyard or planted in the garden. Superbells are the ideal plant for adding long-lasting potted colour highlights to the low-maintenance ‘outdoor room’. Individual colours can be planted alone or in combinations or mix and match Superbells with other flowering plants. They can be planted in garden beds for a mass display or for eye-catching highlights.
Proper watering is the key to growing Superbells. Never allow the roots to get too wet, so water them only when the top of the potting mix/soil is dry. As they bloom so profusely they will benefit from regular applications of a well-balanced fertiliser throughout the flowering period. A regular addition of seaweed extract is beneficial. They are best grown in full sun. Occasionally pinch back the trailing stems to reinvigorate growth.
The first Calibrachoa were introduced to gardeners in 1992. They so resembled Petunias that originally they were called ‘Seaside Petunias’.
